Privacy notice

How we handle personal data on this website, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Last updated August 2026.

01Who is responsible

The controller for the processing described here is:

VENTRALIA EUROPE LTD
Mimi Balkanska Str. No 132, 1540 Sofia, Bulgaria

Bulgaria is a Member State of the European Union, so this processing falls directly under the GDPR and is supervised by the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection.

02What we collect, and why

This website is deliberately minimal. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party content — every font, script and icon is served from our own server, so your browser never contacts anyone else while you read this page.

We process personal data in only two situations:

When you send us a message. The contact form collects your name, email address, company name if you give one, and the content of your message. We use this solely to answer you.

  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract; or Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
  • Retention: for as long as the enquiry is live, and up to 24 months afterwards for reference. Then deleted.
  • Recipients: nobody. Messages arrive in our own mailbox on our own server and are not shared.

Technical request data. Like every web server, ours records the IP address, timestamp, requested page and browser identification for each request. When you submit the contact form, the IP address is included in the message we receive.

  • Purpose: operating the site securely and identifying abuse or automated submissions.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Retention: server logs are kept for a maximum of 30 days.

03What we do not do

We consider these worth stating explicitly, because their absence is unusual:

  • We do not use analytics or measurement tools of any kind.
  • We do not use advertising, remarketing or profiling.
  • We do not embed third-party fonts, maps, videos or social widgets.
  • We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties.
  • We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you.

04Storage on your device

This site sets no cookies.

It stores a single value in your browser's local storage — your choice of light or dark appearance — so the site does not reset every time you visit. This is stored only after you actively select a theme, is never transmitted to our server, and contains no identifier.

You can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser. See our storage notice for the detail.

05International transfers

Our website and mail are hosted within the European Economic Area. We do not transfer personal data collected through this site to third countries.

If this changes, this notice will be updated before the transfer begins, and an appropriate safeguard under Chapter V GDPR will be in place.

06Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15).
  • Have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16).
  • Have your data erased (Art. 17).
  • Restrict processing (Art. 18).
  • Receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20).
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).

To exercise any of these, write to support@ventralia.com. We respond within one month. You do not need to give a reason, and exercising a right costs you nothing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU Member State of your residence or place of work.

07Changes to this notice

If we change how we process personal data, we update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
